At the heart of Elissa’s professional life, is her passion for helping others, her positivity, and her attention to detail. Following a successful career in elementary education, Elissa found her true calling in real estate, serving her clients and guiding them through one of the biggest investments and most important life decisions. Elissa prides herself on being readily available to her clients, listening carefully to their goals, and working tirelessly to ensure that these goals are achieved. She values the importance of building long-lasting relationships with her clients.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Elissa, her husband, and two daughters moved to the Boston area a decade ago. The experience of relocating with two elementary school children has proved invaluable. Elissa is very empathetic to the emotional side of relocating and provides her clients with lots of recommendations and advice on how to help families acclimate to their new surroundings.
Elissa graduated from the University of Michigan where she studied psychology and went on to receive a master’s degree in elementary education. Her former career in education has provided her with valuable interpersonal and organizational skills that she applies in her daily real estate communication. In addition, Elissa has extensive knowledge of the Needham Public School system as a parent and an educator. She has spent a lot of time teaching, volunteering, and tutoring students in her community over the years.
Currently, Elissa resides in Newton with her husband and two daughters Emma and Chelsea ( Emma is senior at Wake Forest University and Chelsea is a freshman at Syracuse University), and her dog Penny. She works on a team at Compass with Samantha Eisenberg (The Sam Eisenberg Group).
